Strawberry New Moon

Updated: Jul 7, 2022

Luck, love, and prosperity, making it the perfect time to manifest your greatest desires.

Oh, the warm days of June, lips crimson from freshly picked strawberries, and the sweet taste that lingers. The Strawberry Moon’s spiritual meaning and energy are powerful and it’s important to understand what it means to you as we begin to say goodbye to Spring and hello to Summer.

The Strawberry Moon meaning is a time of growth and new beginnings. It’s a time to plant the seeds for your dreams and watch them grow into fruition. So whatever your goals are for the coming year, make sure to set your intentions during this dreamy moon phase.

Take the time to slow down and enjoy the soft June air. It’s deliciously fragrant as the summer season begins. Lush green leaves sway in the slight breeze, and the summer sun is currently flourishing at its climax.

Strawberries are considered a food of love, representative of the goddess Freya, and they symbolize love and luck. June’s Strawberry Moon spiritual meaning embodies the magic and fullness of life.

This is the best moment to make difficult decisions or to face responsibilities you’ve been avoiding. Start fresh and dive deep into personal growth! Remember to pace yourself, don’t burn yourself out in your excitement and enthusiasm. Evaluate your goals and intentions to make sure they are realistic and achievable. Right now, anything is possible, so shoot for the moon. However, a square-off between the full moon and hazy planet Neptune could slightly cloud our judgment and make it hard to fully grasp all the details of our reality — so trust that whatever comes to a head now will likely play out in a way that surprises you.

New life, sunlight, magic, optimism, joy, and strength are everywhere. The earth and the universe are surging with enthusiasm! Your intuition is at a peak! So keep an open mind to all of life’s adventures and twists.

Meditation:

Sit outside beneath the moon, or someplace quiet where you will not be disturbed. Write a letter of gratitude to your highest self who is where you imagine to be. Where you’ve faced your fears, learned some lessons, took some risks and are now safe, aligned and patiently waiting for you to find them.

Feel free to say the following chant or repeat it in your mind:

Tonight I sit beneath this Strawberry Moon feeling grateful for (say the 3 things you chose above). I’m grateful for the Moon above and the Earth below me. As the season turns I wish strength, abundance, hope, and love for myself and those I care for.

Feel the white and glowing energy of the Strawberry Moon fill you up. Spend the next 5-10 minutes meditating quietly.

Journal Prompts:

  1. How far have you come with the goals and intentions you set this last Winter? Have you achieved them?

  2. If not, what obstacles can you remove that are holding you back? What patterns and routines are currently interfering with your growth? What can you do to change or alter these? Do you need to re-evaluate your intentions?

  3. If yes, what can you do to set goals that bring about a deeper and more spiritually fulfilling life? How can you challenge yourself further?

  4. How can you incorporate a creative talent of yours into your spirituality?

  5. What can you do now that your future self will be grateful for this Winter or next Spring? Now is a time of growth and improvement, what do you plan to manifest for yourself?

  6. Slow down and notice some of your favorite aspects during the season of the Strawberry Moon and Summer Solstice. Make of list of them and find ways to incorporate them into your life more often.
